Willi Haag | Mosel
The Haag estate has been in the same family for over 400 years. The original winery, a timber framed house built in the 15th century, still stands on the property near the modern winery. Their primary vineyard sites are located in the Brauneberger-Juffer and Juffer-Sonnenuhr with most of these vineyards being comprised of gray slate. The soil conditions and microclimate provide an excellent growing environment for Riesling due to the cool nights and warm days.
2012 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Spätlese
A rich, perfumed Riesling offering a lush elegance. The wine reveals flavors of ripe peach and tropical fruits with a touch of smoke right in the middle. Textured and voluminous yet held in check by mouthwatering acidity.
Goes well with desserts, cheese and Asian cuisine.

This elegant Kabinett is a true classic Riesling. Marked with high levels of ripeness – evident in the richness and intensity of the pear and apricot – the Kabinett shows an excellent balance, offering nice concentration, while retaining freshness and fine minerality.
It goes well with Asian cuisine and cheese.
